Our Scout troupe is getting excited for yet another adventure. Earlier this year they traveled to Nova Scotia for the Canadian Jamboree or CJ’17 where they experienced wonderful adventures such as horseback riding, Mud run, Exploring historic Halifax, learning new skills and making new friends. Now they will be going to the World Brotherhood Camporee near Morrisburg Ontario. This year makes the Camporee’s 44th year and we are lucky to have it held close to home. This is an open, non structured event that allows participants to meet and interact with Scouts from other countries or regions of their own country. Many Scouts participate in badge trading and others participate in the many program activities arranged by the Brotherhood. So far there are over 1800 campers registered to go to the brotherhood from Canada, USA and around the world.
